To stay away from Tajiks and Punjabis(blood suckers)

That is the biggest lesson I have learnt in my life.

                  Kind Regards

Learning who to trust and who not to trust and not to lie are certainly things I have learnt in life, but not the most valuable of things, if I may say. I consider most of the things I have learnt of equal value as I have always come to learn them in extreme circumstances, and for me, one cannot become valuable over the other. I have learnt that one can only truly recognise his friends and enemies when one is going through a hard time or trial. I have learnt that one can recognise and understand someone better when they travel with them, or while they’re on a journey. I have learnt that often words are not the answer to some questions or remarks, and that actions speak louder and can suffice in some circumstances, and then justifying oneself can easily go down the drain. I have learnt that people will conclude things about you based on their faulty judgements and assumptions. I have learnt never to justify myself to such people. I have learnt that one shouldn’t do something for someone and expect anything in return, be it a good gesture. I have learnt that one shouldn’t do so much for someone that they begin to build expectations in their heart to gain something in return. I have learnt never to hold back your hand so much that you feel greedy or selfish to your very own self. I have learnt that the advice of elders has a lot of value and is understood by themselves through the hard way; the cause of their grey hairs. I have learnt that elders are the light and pride of one’s home and without them, even youngsters will take advantage of you. I have learnt that by boasting our qualities in the presence of another, one only looks smaller. I have learnt that one should be humble and soft in their approach towards others. I have learnt that with some people, one may appear as an iceberg, yet be soft and warm to the core. I have learnt that there is a lot of danger and goodness in the second glance. I have learnt that disrespecting someone is more harmful than sinning. And a lot more.

What I have not yet learnt, or implemented in my life, well, multiply the above by a good thousand or two.

Life has taught me to let go of things that have nothing to offer me -- including trivial discussions with certain individuals. And it was through PF that I learned this valuable lesson. I'm absolutely grateful! I now shake my head when I see others doing the same thing I've done for so long because there are so many more important things I could be doing with my time -- and so I do.

There's lots of other things life has taught me... like how to tell whether you can trust someone with what, when to be yourself and with whom, and so on. But I think the above one is more relevant at this stage in my life. That one also happens to be very liberating for me because I finally know what's important and what's not, what needs my time and what doesn't. It adds to internal peace for me.

Life has taught me to love myself....to be loved by others....
care for myself if i want others to care for me....
and respect myself if i want respect from others....
