    Appreciation threads....the revival

    I am planning to revive a "sunnah", i.e custom, tradition of Pashtun forums and that is the notorious but now sadly (or not so sadly) abandoned practice of starting "appreciation threads" for members.

    - I will revive some dormant ones.

    - I will create some new ones.



    Pashtun forums appreciation threads

    In the first year or so these were so common that they became kind of "naff" (not sure if that is an exclusively British term) and "cheesey".

    There was a proliferation of them, but they got too much and died off (rightfully so).

    Now however it the time to revive this long-forgotten PF custom and I hope [MENTION=2]Admin Khan[/MENTION] doesn't mind.

    I am also kind of sick of some of the negativity in this forum, so time for some light-hearted fun and positivity.

        Unless you have been interviewed by the Justice Department about your views on Allah, Islam, and comtemporary politics like i have, you can't get an "appreciation thread"

          Appreciation threads are for people who lack any merit or self esteem and are used by others to give someone a artificial boost to make up for things. As someone else pointed out it's really just a Pathetic Attempt a "Kissing Ass", so that others will give the "Ass Kisser" validation. Pathetic self-interested need for acceptance really.

          People who should be appreciated, don't need appreciation threads. Their work speaks for itself

                    The justice department was looking for sentencing me to the maximum 15 years in federal prison for my views. I beat the charges and all this happened during Ramadan 2 months ago.

                    How does anyone else even think of getting an appreciation thread when they weren't heavily scrutinized and facing prison time for their intellect like i was.
