    All this proves is that Real Arabs probably came from around Iraq and Northern Arabia since this where Arabic was spoken and being a central semitic language unlike Yemen which spoke South Arabian languages which were completely unrelated to Arabic. So this means that RTR's family are not even Arabs but probably Sabeans who became Arabized and adopted Arabic language and culture. But again, if RTR says they are arabs than we have to go by his word and accept it i guess hehe.

    Yemen is a typically non-Arab country.     Daim...you just can't get anything more Arab than a Yemeni....he is to Arabness what Everest is to mountains, there's nothing higher.

    How dare you even think of disagreeing with the reality that Yemenis are the true blue, pure, original Arabs, when the *great* Mahmoud Al-Yemeni himself has said that's what they are!

    I mean how dare you put evidence above what this legendary scholar, nay sage of Yemen says. How dare you put the words of academics from Oxford and France above that of a Yemeni internet troll...oops I mean Yemeni intellectual giant.

      The term Arab historically just referred to people from the Arabian peninsula. Even the prophet Muhammad's family wasn't really Arab if you go back far enough.

          Well said bro.

          I mean how lucky we were to have amongst us a very fine specimen of this master race in our midst, Mahmoud al-Yemeni, who has now disappeared from this forum in to oblivion, vanished.

          And to think we had the privilege, the honour of him taking time out from his very valuable and super-busy schedule and lifestyle and trolling...oops, I mean "posting" on this forum.

          I think we should all be grateful and appreciative of the fact that he - the *GREAT* Mahmoud Al-Yemeni - was once with us.

            I believe the western side of Arabia was always tied to the levant region, this is why so many jews lived in the Hejaz and Yemen

              I think we have to separate genetics from looks, because looks really depend on environment. All of us came from africa at some point, yet we evolved to look different. 10000 years is a long time for south asians to change their looks to what they look like presently

              There was a theory held by some that the original Arabs look like an intermediate stage between the people to their east, the Negroid/Hamitic/Cu****ic populations of Africa and the people to their west, the Indic peoples of south Asia.

              Some western scholars contend that the original Arabs are from the fertile crescent and western Arabia and not Yemen.

              Who knows.

                the reason you have different looking Yemeni is because Yemeni is actually ethnically diverse, Most of the Coastal Regions of Aden have a large East African origin populace. While Mukalla also has some there's a stronger "Eastern" Influence there.

                It's like Afghanistan in a sense, Afghanistan has different ethnic groups, but not all are "Afghan" in the former, ethnic sense.

                      I don't know what does this thread is for but I always considered Yemnis to be unlucky arabs. Allah didn't bless them with oil like their neighbour brethans.

                          Bengal Pussycat does this thing where he tries to learn everything he can about an ethnic group/nationality and the he joins their forums. and tries kissing up to them.

                          On Arab forums he trashes Persians and Afghans
                          ON Persian forums he trashes Afghans and Arabs
                          On Afghan forums he trashes Persians an Arabs and Tuks

                          Just look how he acts with MixxedPashtana after attacking and degrading Turks, he tries to woo her with the Turkish he can speak.

                          He's a chameleon who changes his persona because he wants everyone's acceptance, in hopes of being able to meet one of their women, pretty sad really. The self-hatred he experiences is beyond words.

                              I was searching for that map for 10-15 min. After that I gave up. I can't save all the maps and information I learn to my driver. But I had it in my head.

                              Some of the Iranian races maybe married arab girls or did other bad things, that's why the diversity of some semi Caucasian looking Yemeni today.
