I cooked something once in peshawar i live wid my cousins, then she was like women cook why are you cooking. I was like wat is wrong with these people they arent even grateful, i am happy to be lazy...

because men shouldn't do the cooking and cleaning in the house (unless they are living alone)..it don't suit them.

why not? have men got some sort of god complex? if the prophet could clean than no man is better than him and if people preach islam then they should atleast abide by the prophets example. words words

Yea thats the best point to use, the Prophet (Saw) helped his wife in the house work.
I think men should contribute especially when your wife or mother is sick, she is a human being and gets tired. We cant always expect her to do everything. Like i feel embarrassed sometimes like my mum has been doing all the house work since we were small and she gets tired all the time. We just sit and if we realise how hard it is for her, then we would wanna help ease the load on her. I dont think its got to do with being a boy or a girl, its called compassion.
