  • Lieutenant Nilofar Rahmani

Lieutenant Nilofar Rahmani, first female fixed-wing Afghan Air Force pilot, is the recipient of the 2015 International Women of Courage Award. This is an extraordinary achievement for Afghan women in the Air Force who have defied threats, gender norms, and have remained committed to their careers marking a significant change in women’s rights since the fall of the Taliban. We congratulate Captain Nilofar Rahmani on this remarkable achievement and wish her the very best.
What is your view on Afghan women’s progress in the Afghan Air Force?

I doubt that bacha khan said that because people quote Gandhi on saying society's civilization is measured by how it treats its weakest and he was bacha khan's contemporary.. Besides, original version of that quote was said by neither bacha khan or Gandhi. The original qoute suggests that civilization in a society is measured by how it treats its WEAK.
Now I don't know whether bacha khan actually transformed the "weak" to women himself or his idiot followers took it upon themselves to do that but whenever this shrewed version is brought up, women are ironically mocked. So stop being an idiot and stop spreading nonsense.
