i don't agree. Afghanistan is not the poorest country of Asia. GDP per capita is not good figure to rank countries.Afghanistan GDP per capita is low due to high rate of tax evasion, smuggling of goods and irregularities in imports and exports. anyway Afghanistan GDP per capita is 2000$ per capita not 1100$.

I agree, Pakistan 10th most poorest Asia, we need to eradicate this poverty, but I think India is fudging its figures, they have visibly more poverty when I visited India 3 years ago, they just have good PR tactics

Well its looks quite realistic to me. When I visited Afghanistan majority of the country is like in a real bad conditions, even the new buildings are of really bad quality they will stay for only 20years max....

For the record, i also do not agree that Afghanistan is the poorest country in the world, that would def be Somalia. For a country that is poor, economically wise we are doing good, also Tajikistan is the poorest country in central asia by GDP yet they are not on this list

I was reading on another website which had Afg's GDP at $1mill in 2013, and is agree GDP is not a good measure to determine which countries are poor.

Yes thats the only buildings that had good quality in Afghanistan, the rest is really ****. Not only material wise but also if you look it trough aesthetic and architectural point of view. Those savage mudjahids have really bad taste, but what can you expect from pimps and thiefs.
