World Workers Day

May 1st marks International Workers Day which has been observed and celebrated in Afghanistan in the past few years. During the time of celebration, government officials praise and honor workers for their contribution to the reconstruction of the Afghanistan, while television and radio programs discuss labor issues. The National Union of Afghanistan Workers also organizes events representing various provinces of the country. We like to take this opportunity and send our best wishes to the Afghan nation on observing and honoring Afghan workers and their contribution to rebuild the country.

Get out of your homes, buy some fruits without bargaining about the price, hire a taxi or a rickshaw to visit a friend and pay a little extra, take your car for a wash and give a little extra tip to the kids there, do something similar instead of lying lazily and sleeping, change the idea of labor day. Not everyone has the luxury of a holiday today.
