ukhh, it's very simple.

typically, when people are in love, they tend to have a strong desire for expressing themselves or their feelings at this stage of life than they would have at any other point. due to the nature of the cultural norms in countries like pakistan, a man or woman can't express his or her feelings directly to the person for whom they have these feelings.
based on the extent of their knowledge and understanding for the science of plants which is also known as botany, they choose a tree or flower plant that is the most unique amongst the others and go to either dance around it, beside it or lean against it while singing for their loved one. in order to understand the deeper meaning of what the artist is trying to say in his song or for his lover, one has to have full knowledge of the characteristics of those plants and trees. some smell good, some have larger or greener leaves and some tend to bear fruit or be fruitless.
the more unique the tree which you have chosen, the prettier your expression of love for your beloved one.. it's like a form of poetry.. as if you were dedicating a poem to someone you loved.
