Women in Afghan Media play a vital role in social change and social inclusion. As such, their participation not only advances opportunities for women and girls, but also has a positive effect on the nation’s economic growth, sustainable development, and peace. Recently President Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah emphasized their vision on key reform priorities, including the role of women in key sectors of Afghan society. It is believed that inclusion of women in society indicates stability, and a stable Afghanistan leads to greater regional security. Do you agree with this statement? What difference can women’s inclusion in the media make in the lives and situations of Afghan women?
