The situation of Pashtuns versus Punjabis is not that much pathetic or worrisome as you always present. I had the opportunity in living in Pashtun parts of Pakistan and Punjabi parts of Pakistan. I have noticed that Punjabis are not language or culture conscious people.

Even Punjabi is a geographical name not an ethnic group. All those living in punj+ab (land of five rivers) even Pashtuns are Punjabis. Punjabis speak different languages not only Punjabis. Now a days they prefer Urdu to their language.

On the other hand Pashtuns are a monolithic ethnic group with their own language and culture. A Pashtun is Pashtun from any part of the world including Punjab.

The appreciable part of the so called Punjabis is that they are intelligent and hard working people. They are business minded and secular kind of people. Except in parts of Seraiki speaking poor Punjabis in lower Punjab, Mullah does not control their affairs. Their focus is on industry or agriculture, not like Pashtuns who live and die for Islamism.

Punjab will never become hurdle if the provincial governments of KP and Balochistan and Fata authorities spend the budget on development and not pocketing it. After 18th amendment provincial governments are now more powerful. Center has few areas like defense, foreign affairs, communications, currency etc. Education, health, agriculture, tourism, industry, labor, social welfare, planning and development, irrigation etc are now purely provincial subjects.

Focus on your own responsibilities not blaming others. A brave Pashtun should not become hostage in the hands of the so called less brave or coward Punjabi. All the time weeping and crying against Punjabis show you are a victim not a hero.

I am realistic.I do,nt even want pashtuns to beg punjabis for the rights.
I want pashtuns to use their strengths ,energy and mind for the good of pashtuns not pakistan.
