"Anyone who says himself spiritual is a spiritual person"?

state your case and if you don't have a case move on.

I'm not a religious person, far from it, in fact the stuff I say about religion is blasphemous to the extreme and yet religious people seem not to mind, in fact they think I'm deeply spiritual.

I have been on a spiritual journey most of my life and I've experienced many things through meditation. I have had several readings done; I've discovered Reiki and affirmations only this year. It's good to become a part of something bigger. In this age of technology that I can feel spiritual and feel like I belong, that helps a lot to cope with life's anxiety.

      Blessed me!

We simplify the teachings in islam and make them suitable for particular purposes and call it "spiritual" or sufi and that is what the new age cult likes. This is for all the many religions not only in Islam, kabala and etc. every religion thinks our truth is the only truth and differences is strictly a sign of untruth and i agree ..this is not what the so called spirituality of new age cult built up its theories. They want their "truths" to be accepted by others whatever their religion, including their crazy philosophies and thoughts. The point is that the new age movement only see the differences when it comes to other religons, not the similarities in religions. I’ve met a person that although he’s a Buddhist, he talks informatively about the teachings in Islam. he also finds the same things in his religion in its own terms that match islam but thats not what new age cult keeps doing.

I practice spirituality according to islam. I don’t mind people’s ideas are different than mine, because that's their cross to carry.

          Asalam-alaikum,

Being contented with the decree of Allah (Ridaa) is the heart of worship and spirituality. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
''He has tasted the sweetness of faith: he who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad as his Prophet''.

We need to know that Allah (Ridaa), has provided for each one of our provision. As long as we strive, we get the blessing. In another case the Messenger, may Allah bless him said:

''Know that even if the whole of community were to gather together to benefit with something, they would not benefit you with anything except that which Allah has already recorded for you, and that if they gather together to harm you with something, they would not be able to harm you with anything with anything except that which Allah has already recorded against you''. at'Tirmidhi

The knowledge of Islam should empower us, because we thereby know that everything that happens is by the permission of Allah, Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala. Learning from an experience is contentment of the heart because we trust that Allah is the one spirit.

          My case for spirituality.

New-age spirituality is an Indian export sold to the stupid westerners. Indians have somehow managed to convince the people in the west that India is God's country where all religious ideas are born there and then exported.

The simple truth is that India is nothing but a gigantic cesspool of corruption, moral degeneracy and ignorance. In fact India was much worse a thousand years ago and you can find this in Al-Birouni's India book...

Even the fancy Buddhism was almost dead by the time British begun to rule India and it was under the Brits that Buddhism slowly begun to regain its footing.

Islam is the only religion that has given raise to a civilization, Christianity on the other hand destroyed the Ancient civilization of Greece and Rome for a thousand years. The problem with Islam today is that Muslims are poor. In today's world if you're poor, you're inferior.
