well, at least in this case there is some sort of a reason, he talked to his wife. Usually they beat people for no reason. Some of the beatings Ethiopians and Yemenies are shocking

Sad man. In pretty much the entire middle east, South Asians are treated like dirt.. they barely make any money.. but servants that stay in their own country gotta go through this crap too though

          They should never go there.

I rather and starve with honor than be kicked around for a few bucks.

A lot of these people would have been servants in Pakistan or india. I've seen how some people over there treat their servants.. Not much better.

if these people come to the west, they will get freedom they could only dream of. Equality would be a really strange concept for them. They are basically slaves for life over there, doesn't matter in the middle east or back in south asia. Most of these people belong to the lower castes. In Pakistan they are called Bhangi

I actually knew of (bhangi) guy once who somehow fled Saudi Arabia and came to America. He married a Amercan girl and is now living the American dream.

I am actually surprised, one of pakistan's best batsman, Mohammad Yousuf was from the Bhangi community originally

                • Mohammad Yousuf, Pakistani cricketer, formerly Yousuf Youhana. He was actually born in a Hindu Balmiki family in the slums of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. As he claims, he had two religious conversions (first from Hinduism to Christianity, and then from Christianity to Islam).[4]

things also changed for him once he became a cricketer:
