  • Why do we blame others??

Many times we always blame others, its a common theme....When you are not doing well in life for some reason, blame the leader. If you aren't rich blame your neighbour and so on...

We tend to hide purposely or due to pride our own faults....we never want to show ourselves to be imperfect. It doesn't look nice when we wish to observe what we are in truth/reality...

When somebody fails his exam he blames everybody except himself. This is how many of our people are. Blame jews, blame farsiwaan, blame punjabi, blame india and blame everything on this earth except himself....

I go to the shops in Peshawar, they are my fellow pashtuns but i cannot trust them. Who's fault is that?

I go to the university in Peshawar and the teachers tell you how the university is the best in the world but they havent achieved much in terms of world recognition for some research or watever....they just do their job in a lazy manner. whos fault is dat??

When you drive on the road with your fellow pashtun brothers, everybody is swearing at eachother, nobody gives way to eachother and everybody is in a hurry. But when you sit with one of those crazy drivers in the taxi, he complains about everything, oh look at this road system...its so funny when he says that and he drives like a maniac at the same time....whos fault is dat?

I can go on and on. I bet some people like before will say oh who's side are you on, you must be an indian, you must be a punjabi hiding as a pashtun bla bla bla...go to hell those people.....I am a pashtun, i am a muslim and i hate liers and munafiqs....first step towards progress is accepting your faults..

One quote i remember was 'we are not defeated by our enemies, we are defeated by our ownselves'...BLAME YOU, not them....you point one finger and 4 point back at you.

Our men stare at women in the bazaars, but when they go home they tell their women stay in the house...dont go anywhere....mashallah....i guess those guys dont want their women to see how perverted they may be. Dont tell me these guys are peshawaris like i mentioned they are either afghans, people from tribal areas etc...who came to peshawar to earn a living...

Many people say oh peshawar is an exception...for gods sake peshawar consists of foreigners (the people from tribal areas, the people from swat and few are peshawaris...) when they get a chance for some freedom they then become so desperate. I dont need to give details of stuff...for you to understand. I am sure those who know can accept wats the reality and those who wanna live in a fantasy land of pashtuns being warriors and perfect men, then be my guest....

The best people are those who are the same no matter whether they are in the west or the east. they stick to their principals...a tribal person in his village who is a great person, but when he goes peshawar or the west he changes....what does that show, his belief is not in the heart but its artificial...when you have true faith u remain strong no matter wat.....it does seem like i am just showing a negative side towards things....but that is because i wish these bad things would change and then our people become successful. I thought our people were soooo good.....bearded men, mosques full and so on...ive been tricked by these bearded men more than the others....i have been really disappointed coz i had painted this ideal picture of our people, but it was shattered when i lived amongst them and saw reality....

A very good post. Its true everyone blames others except themselves however we have to acknowledge that sometimes others are to blame. But i think that we use these techniques of neutralisation to try and comprehend things and prevent our ego from being hurt and to keep our conscience clear. The thing is everyone only sees the best in themselves and sometimes misinterprets what others have to say.

i dont disagree sometimes others are to blame....but others cannot harm u as much if u are stronger...

Its like when you are with good company, you will be good....but when you come across a bit of bad company, if you are strong...you say no i dont wanna smoke like you guys, why do you do it its bad for health.....that way that bad company didnt harm you...

But if you are weak, you will say oh i have to copy them....and u are then harmed by that bad company....which is my point that make yourself strong...pashtuns be strong and you wont be affected as much by others....do good positive work, keep away from negative stuff of dushmani, badal, stubborness when its not needed (like in family matters)...etc.

but if you think about it peer pressure does not really link into why we blame people. Saifuallah we can't turn around and tell people that they are to blame because they are having an influence on us.

That is called peer pressure i know....the way it links into wat im saying is that if you are strong people cannot affect you as much....your enemies cannot affect you if your people are united...the way enemies try to defeat you is to use your own people against you...

then wat happens is our people blame the enemy for that, but never their own people.....we always have defeated the enemy on the battlefield, but our troubles never finish because of a long list of issues we have wid our ownselves....

Peer pressure...they are pressurised in trying to please others rather than doing wat is right. Same way our people are pressurised in tryin to provide their family no matter where the money comes from...society is weak because most things are pressurised upon them, the moment they are out of that society they end up being something else...only those who believe in wat they do will continue it no matter where they are...so people blame their society when they earn haram money, when they are harsh to their women and so on...everybody just wants to accept their situation and wanna live a life of just saying we have to be like this....no u dont! u can change...

Eyeliner u just explained it in your statement, you cant blame people for influencing us....that is what everybody does....blame the west for our society becoming westernised. Blame the hindus for making our people follow some stuff of their culture and i can go on and on

We blame others because we arent strong enough to accept the fact that we do a lot of mistakes..or rather we have a wrong conception that everything that we do is correct and its always the other person who is wrong...

its allright to accept if we are wrong ... there is nothing bad in it as we are all human being andno human being is perfect...to err is very human....

accpeting our mistake rather than playing the balme game, helps us to go ahead in life because we learn from our mistakes... and if we dontaccept our mistake we wontlearn...and learning is a continous process, no matter what age we are we always are in the process oflearning.....
