  • Do you hate non-Muslims?

In our religion, we should not hate non-Muslims but we should not associate with them so that means we not should be hostile towards them but extremists promote hate towards them, what do you say?

      The world has changed considerably.

The unity with religion is a past tense now and this is a Good thing in happening.

For me,Their is no difference between a Muslim and a Non muslim. The closest to my interest is my favourite irrespective of his religion

Interesting views guys, I also agree Muslims are not the best people even though Islam is the true religion they don't practice it properly and sincerely and also like Da Bannu Mazdigar says the closest to my interest is my favourite irrespective of his religion but I think there should be a lot more unity among Muslims

We have to reinterpret verses in Quran and Hadith which urge that Non Muslims cannot be your friend and that we must be hard on non Muslims. Religion is for your personal affairs not for social or political affairs.

The verses revealed at that time were of strategic importance because Madinah was the enemy of Makkah and both were at war. But now if we are not at war , how can we call each and every non Muslim our enemy. A Muslim can be an enemy of another Muslim too and a non Muslim can be your friend.

Yes Quran did not allow friendship with non Muslims.

"O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as your friends: they are only friends of one another. Whoever of you disobeys this commandment will be counted as one of them. Surely God does not guide the wrongdoers." (Qur’an; 5:51)

Quran also urges war against non Muslims and killing them into pieces. But all these verses were for the time when Muslims of Madinah were fighting against non Muslims of Makkah so the verses were for a war time situation not that now every Muslim make every non Muslim his/her enemy.

Actually earlieryou proved that Muhammad(saw) was a Theocrat because he was a secular and religious leader at the same time. Which means he used his religion to rule secular affairs. So religious is social and communal not personal alone.

The verses revealed at that time were of strategic importance because Madinah was the enemy of Makkah and both were at war. Actually there's no need for reinterpretation; If you really Studied Arabic and Islamic Sciences as you claimed. the verse here use the word WALAYAH, WALAYAH refers to is INTIMATE friendship and Guardianship from Non-Muslims in regulating the affairs of Muslims.

Other types of friendship like "Zamala" which means respectful acquaintanceship is perfectly acceptable. Only Walayah is not.

So we don't need to reinterpret anything; You just need to become more educated on Islam.

Um the way you phrased this explanation is pretty misleading, but the JIST of your explanation is correct that it is specifically in combat against those who make aggression against you.

Finally you said something correct instead of making errors as you always do....shall we celebrate?
