I don't mean to contradict you, but from my understanding Stockholm syndrome is a situation where hostages begin to see their captors as the good guys instead of the authorities.

In other situations where the hostage is a bit crafty, the hostage makes the captors believe that his suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

In my case, I look forward to be a hostage.

For some strange reason variations of the syndrome are attributed to a number of Nordic cities - there's Oslo Syndrome, Helsinki Syndrome etc. Did I miss a pattern with these places and the strange symbiotic relationship between hostage-taker/hostage oppressor/oppressed?

all these emotional overreactions are ridiculous but some i can understand because of nationalism.

when it comes to national team sports like the nfl or nba, i just don't get it. people are obsessive about teams where none of the players are from the city they play for and will easily jump ship to another team for more money. so what are these people loyal to? the logo and the billionaire owners?
