Gender also doesn't make sense, infact all outward forms and manifestations don't make sense because the essence is one.

Humans use names to distinguish one from the other. Thats how our brains work. We like to categorize things into smaller chunks to make sense of the world around us. Smaller things are easy to digest. We know this worls through opposites. Us and them this and that etc are all tools to help us undrestand our world. Thats just the nature od the world.

Nationalism is fine as long as it doesn't lead to fascism but like everything else, humans have the capacity to use it for good or evil. A knife by itself is not evil but depending for wha purpoae it is used, it can be used as a tool for good and evil. Same with nationalism, hitler used it to juatify killing the jews while Ataturk used it to modernise his country. There is nothing inherintly bad about love for ones country where your spent your childhood and have many precious memories associated with that place, both happy and sad.

Each nation has their unique characteristics which makes it unique, different music, different food etc. Appreciate the beauty in everything as it is. As long as we remember to respect each other, there is nothing wrong with nationalism.

The problem with nationalism is that its a conditioning, one learns to be a nationalist. The same way, one learns to be a follower of a religion, a school, a trade or even a culture.

Anything that is learned is false. Only what is felt is real.
