history cannot help us there unfortunately
That is a good question, who was the founder of Judaism? After all without Judaism you cannot have had Christianity and Islam.

The origin of religion is in the human attempt to make sense of morality. Why are we moral? In order to question that answer everyone has created their own God and Gods.

are there any mythologists here, or is that outside the area of this forum? (please forgive a newbie if it is) ...i'm not a believer and have no interest in talking to any quran-as-history enthusiasts

there is nothing I could point my finger to and say this is why islam is true, and this is why x, y, z and all the thousands of other religions aren't true

religion is mythology, do you agree?
Nevermind, I found the answer to my question.

BTW, what mythology are you interested in? If it comes to general overview, you can read something relevant by Mircea Eliade.
Mincea Eliade, a great admirer of René Guénon, an ethnic French Muslim convert to Islam.

Métaphysician, specialist of esoterism, the greatest of them all.

Dude, do yourself a favor. Stop wasting your time.

Kochagast copies posts on atheist forums and posts it here pretending its her own text.

I caught her red handed twice already.
