Badlun is a troll, YES or NO?

After all these posts by Badlun, I am convinced that he is a troll. All we know about him by his own admission is that he works for the UN, and has apparently met various Talibs in Pakistan.

EVERY single one of his posts seem to be anti Islam, even by liberal standards. He praises Israel, the US, Pakistan, while is antagonistic towards anything Islam.

Per forum rules I respect the rights of people to say what they want within limits but Badlun only seems to exist to casually antagonize and spread disbelief.

so what do you all say. people with 6 interchangeable ips need not apply.

He's a stubborn troll who can't see his views had been debunked dozens of times by dozens of people but still doesn't learn anything. And continues to remain ignorant.

I agree, I no longer have a sympathetic attitude towards Badlun. Initially I respected Badlun as someone who has an alternative view on issues and had well thought out reasons for why he holds those views. But after engaging in numerous debates with him; each time I presented evidence to him which Demonstrated why many of his conclusions were incorrect, He completely ignored such evidence and merely continued repeating his initial rant despite being corrected.

Someone who ignores evidence and carries on as if none such evidence was presented to him is Agenda driven and is merely here to promote their agenda rather than engage in honest discourse. On top[ of that his commentaries and posts are simply slogans where he regurigitates the same string or statements as if they were existential facts. he uses a lot of jngoistic rhetoric like Islamism and other terms coined by Western Orientalists and Political Thinktanks

There's nothing wrong with taking a critical look at Muslims and Islamic society or rethinking how Islam is applied in society; BUT it has to be done within the framework of Islam and accepting Islam's active role in society on all levels. he attempts to polarize Muslims by claiming that Islam and culture are necessarily at odds while ignoring the COMPLEXITY and dynamics inbetween. His statements demonstrate that he wants Islam to be reduced to something that's equivalent to a hobby, like stamp collecting.

For this reason I say he is a troll.

I joined pf in 2010. First thing that caught my attention was his poorly written so called articles on religion, politics and social issues. He quickly proved to me that he is only interested in undermining the interests of Muslims and he repeatedly spread his own concocted definition of religion.

For his service he is loved and revered by fellow apostates.

What he believes is non of our business... Many members of this forum get easily angered and immediately start cursing, that is far worst than having a different opinion(even if it is wrong a opinion). I have yet to see Badlun curse/insult and becoming vulgar, so I honestly don't care how people classify a troll nowadays, but for me as long a person isn't insulting others then he is considered fine.

Many people claim to be Muslims in this forum, but yet they curse/insult as if it is was part of Islam. I honestly respect an atheist who doesn't insult more than a Muslim who constantly insult/curse. A Muslim who insult is degrading Islam, but an atheist is well known for his view, thereby we expect some sort of anti religious slogans. Which make it easy for us to take his opinion with a grant of salt.

Yes he is a troll, and not just becuase if his political views, but in almost every subject he claims to have met talibs, has friends in Afghan Army and in Pakistany army he also traveled almost everywhere know everything and has high conection with political groups everywhere.... I would expect something more from a so called moderator. If you are convinced that Badlun (or anyone else!) is a troll, then stop violating PF rules, feel yourself obligated to report his posts, and ban him.

Your observation is quit well and being a Moderator i understand your need to have this clarified.

Badlun is insulting and belitteling muslims ,Islam and pashtuns on every chance he gets and has been doing so for years.

Pashtunforums should be a place where people can discuss in an harmonius atmosphere. where people can discuss religion ,culture, language , people , country in a constructive way. We have many issues ,energy, infrastructure,healthcare,illiteracy,war,poverty.


Instead these TROLLS come on every thread to spit their poison an disrupt the course of dicussion by means of provocations.

it doesnt seem he is interested in learning here rather enforcing an agenda.

lest suppose Badlun was a neo Nazi and this forum was called Israeliforums. he would come here insult judaism, condone the oppression and killing of jews,invasion of their country.

do you think such Nazis would be allowd to do so, or do you think Pashtuns should step on their religion and culture to serve you two?

Let me clarify something. If someone (Badlun, or anyone else) violates forum rules in any way, then should be banned and offensive posts should be deleted. No doubts about it. And that's why moderators are here.
If a moderator has doubts about a member and is not able to solve the problem himself, then maybe in that case should contact our Admins and discuss with them the issue.
I wonder about the purposefulness of such dedicated threads. And somehow I have impression that the purpose is not to determine whether someone behaves like a troll or not. The aim is rather stigma, ridicule, sneer and persistent urge to badmouth.

Randolph being a muslim has the right to not lend a hand to those who preach against him ,his culutre,religion and country.Why dont you people allow pashtuns to discuss their issues instead of trying to manipulate and enforce your agenda?

the platform of pashtun forums doesn't have a voice which allows it for others to come over and hijack it as and whenever they please.
forum rules this and forums rules that..there are alot of ways of trolling and still staying with in those boundaries.. the you have to do a bit more than just wait for someone to break a rule in order for you to take action. i know you want to be fair but this state of neutrality is not doing anything foe whatever desire whoever had for the foundation of this platform. you don't let your gardens take the natural course, you pull out the weeds and let the flowers blossom.
it's called ignorance because it's overwhelming. they go in circles and it doesn't bother them because this is the most important thing they will ever do in their lives. for some others, just keeping up with it is tiring let alone fighting it.

as for badlun, i don't know of the rest but his conflict of religion is as artificial as grape flavored boxed juice.
