Yeah. You probably can't tell because of our accents. I don't know if it's in dari or farsi though.

or atleast should be converted from persian into urdu

      Why?

Farsi is a very poetic language.

The issue is that most Pakistanis don't know Urdu very well.

Conversational Urdu which we speak, is very different from proper Urdu. Proper Urdu is not that much different from Farsi.

Here is an example of proper Urdu:
Urdu Poetry by Allama Iqbal ( Eghbale Lahori) Bale Jibril Ki eik Ghazal - YouTube

There is probably not even 1 percent of Pakistanis that can understand this poem completely.

          You're Afghan, right?

          Don't you guys speak Dari?

Or at least in school in Afghanistan?

I think that English is taking over even Urdu in Pakistan.

Pashto and farsi are both mandatory in afghan schools. but I never went to school in Afghanistan.

            Paki is becoming angloized.

It's true. With the age of internet, the younger generation is becoming more fluent in English. I don't have any problem with that, but it's a shame that they are forgetting Urdu, and their ethnic languages.

I actually encourage all people to learn as many languages as they can, but I don't advocate forgetting national or ethnic languages. I think they should be not only preserved, but evolve as well.

There are so many things I can only express in Punjabi, because saying them in English just doesn't make any sense.

I'd assume it's the same with Pashto.

In all honesty, I feel like both Pakistan and Afghanistan have the worst national anthems on earth. I mean, not a single Pakistani has a clue what he is singing with such pride. It just sounds so ridiculously artificial. Don't be embarrassed of Urdu, make your national anthem in Urdu, not Dari, for the sake of common understanding. Afghanistan --> Is the mentioning of all ethnic groups really necessary? What if more ethnic groups are found? You add more lyrics?

                Just my opinion.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Once my Pashtun friend explained me that the idea of the unity of all ethnic groups was the reason for which they were mentioned in the Afghan anthem.
I don't know if it is true.

There is no difference between the two. The lyrics is both Dari and Farsi since their written dialect is the same. Iranians and Dariwans only have an accent when they speak.

The stupid Dariwans in Afghanistan hate this anthem eventhough we included their ethnic identities in it. They disrespect it by not standing up when it is played.

Seriously i hate when people say this.

The anthem mentions all ethnicites because most ignorants in afghanistan think that; afghan=pashtun so they would think if afghan was only mentioned that they were only singing about pashtuns. So this is why other ethnicites are mentioned so bad doubts don't arise, plus its great for unity too.

Most people in afghanistan don't like the anthem because its in pashto and not farsi. Personally i think our anthem is the best in the world and i will stab anyone who says otherwise.

i thought about the same and it also doesnt mention all ethnicities.
i mean punjabis are not mentioned.
i think it doesnt serve a purpose when we are talking about the Afghan nation.I think the intentions fo those composing it was good.

i think the end of the Afghan anthem is very nice as it is probably the only anthem that has Allahu Akbar.

overal i would say a new should be composed without the western orchestra music but something local.

both paki and afghan anthems are in afghan languages.
the fact the pakistanis dont know what the anthem says ,says it all.

what do you call this type of music?

the music was made by an Afghan-German componist.

You morons can keep hating on the current anthem OR you could accept this new one once the tajiks hold power in afghanistan.
