one of the most common terms used in regards to afghanistan is that its a failed state. the western media which always likes to simplify stuff because the average westerner is inherently stupid, really cannot grasp the complexity of history and afghan history
for the west, any country where there are no shopping malls, no dating, no bars and no consumer culture is a failed state, because the western mind simply cannot grasp how anyone could live without those stuff
so is afghanistan really a failed state?
afghanistan is not a failed state because any afghan, irrespective of ethnic background, if a foreigner insults afghanistan in front of them, they will attack that foreigner... so how could a country be a failed state where its people are so much in love with their country.
Afghanistan is not only a failed state, in fact its one country which has the ability to fail other countries - russia, pakistan...
