  • Afghan-US Relations

Afghanistan and the United States share a deep rooted history of friendship and partnership that goes back to the 1830s; with diplomatic relations beginning in the early 1930s and official contacts blooming in the 1950s, when Vice President Nixon and President Eisenhower each made official visits to Afghanistan. We came across a wonderful short documentary that validates this historic friendship between the two nations and wanted to share it with you. It show Prime Minister Sardar Muhammad Daoud Khan addressing the United States congress and visiting the White House, the State Department, the Library of Congress, and the United Nations headquarter in New York City.

How do you see the future of Afghan – US partnership and friendship?

we afghans don't like foreigners who come to our country with guns. its as simple as that, so no matter what you do we're not going to like you, even those of us like me who absolutely hate taliban

we also don't like westerners because we know we're superior to them in everything except material wealth and technology, so we look to india, china, japan and other asian countries for inspiration

so thank you for fighting taliban but you did it for your own selfish reasons and you couldn't even beat those *******s

so the get f out of our country and let china and other asian nations to move in. at least those who have a superior civilization and culture than us could offer us something
