I remember hearing about this a long time ago, but I thought that this was simply a legend. Your link, if I understand it correctly, confirms my thoughts: ' Most modern scholars dismiss Pope Joan as a Medieval legend'. But I guess 'some' scholars might see more in this.Originally posted by Hallo View Post

A Pashtun female shopkeeper in a busy market, taxi driver, truck driver, bus driver, train driver, president, prime minister, imam in a mosque, a barber, cobbler etc
I have not seen a Pashtun man cooking or serving food to his children, cleaning the house, washing clothes in presence of her wife.

Because its not in Pashtun culture for a man to clean the house and wash clothes in presence of his wife, cultural Pashtun men see these as tasks for women. As for serving food to their children i've seen that many times.----------

Ladies, no proper woman would tolerate the idea of coming home to a husband in an apron. However, if he ever refuses to help, claims cooking is a woman's job or suggests that it reduces his manlihood, you starve him until he starts believing otherwise.
