Yes, status. Lets say you're a doctor, you have status, but do people respect you?

Status or respect? Or you don't actually have any status if people don't respect you?

And lets say, if you were a doctor, if that doctor-ness is taken away from you - is there any redeeming quality in you? Is there a personality, intelligence and passion -anything?

Holland is a very small country. So when people commit suicide they make sure hundreds if not thousands notice it. They jump in front of the train which causes allot of pain and agony in this small overpopulated heavily conjuctioned country. For the commuters.

i've read that in islam, suicide is not only forbidden, but that suicides are damned to relive the method of their selfmurder for eternity. apparently the deaths of modern day suicide bombers are viewed with disapproval by islamic religious authorities?

In islam it is viewed as a violation against will of Allah, only Allah can start and end life.
