In fact, there are many Afghans who visited Tajikistan lately and they said that Tajiks have developed a disliking for Panjsheris and other Afghan Tajiks and respect Pashtuns more because of religiosity.

I use to watch these as a child. Its been over 25 years since I have watched these for the last time.

I think you are right about Tajiks an Uzbeks from USSR. I have the same opinion.
Tajiks from Afghanistan consider themselves much closer to them than to Pashtuns.

Maybe becuse they are cut off from inner afghan issues?
Its like in Georgia there are mixed Armenian-Azeri villages and in Iran both live also peacfully together, but inside our countries, specially in Azerbaijan, big racism exists one towards the other.

By the way, from the Soviet era i loved the Turkmenfilm of Alty Karliev studio, they were great, specially their national tales.

I like also many of the older films. The cinema was perhaps one of few good things in USSR, even there are also plenty of idological stupid movies.
But at least most films were without great violence scenes and perversion and humor was not so dirty.
If you lived in Russia you maybe saw the contrast to what happened later.
I lived in Russia too, in different places.

Judging as i have never met a tajik from Tajikistan you may be right. However they copy other peoples cultures lol.
