  • "Dont Judge me, Only God can Judge me!"

Well well well, it seems Anthony Weiner, is also one of those "American Muslims" who believe that none other than God can judge peoples behavior and actions.

I am sure many of the so called Muslims in America voted for this guy.

Well to be honest on certain issues he can only be judged by God; but issues about the societal unacceptability, disruptiveness and simple outright wrongness of his behavior .....that's a human issue and not restricted to God's domain.

      Nice try Anthony.

I am glad this guy lost. Imagine him being the new mayor of New York.

Maybe he can try next time by changing officially into "Carlos Danger".

You can judge peoples behavior and actions but judging a person as a whole is wrong because only God knows the intentions and reasons for such behavior and actions, humans cannot mind read nor can they see into the future.

In Islam we judge a person's actions. Based on the actions, we get a picture of the person and thus we decide how to deal with them.

Suppose a guy who smokes, doesn't pray, drinks, is rude, swears and dresses like a thug comes to your house to ask to marry your daughter. Are you going to say, I am not allowed to judge you, only God can judge.... Obviously not.

you judge a persons actions, ok fine but is this judgment of their personality based on the actions you see fault proof? ovourse it isnt fault proof because only Allahs judgment is free from faults, so if your judgment may contain faults then what gives you the right to judge? you are merely a human being that makes mistakes all the time, whos to say you are not mistaken in judging someones life as a whole?. You also commit major and minor sins just as every other human being does, so suppose one day you are caught engaging in one of these sins and as a result your whole personality is judged, would this be a concise and fair description of your character fully? and does it provide a comprehensive view on the way you lead your life. You see, you can lead your whole life in good deeds but if you slip up once and do a bad deed people will judge you on the bad deed and all the good you have done will be forgotten, people will only judge you and remember you for the bad action, this is why humans are pathetic in judging and judging a persons heart and individuality is reserved only for Allah.

you can make a judgment in Islam, we make judgments all the time in terms of decisions, this shouldnt be confused with judging a persons life or outcome after they die.

I'm not allowed to judge him whether i am a better human being than him or not because i myself do sins, i can however make a decision that he is or is not compatible with my daughter. Believe me there are people that have big beards and preach all day and are titled and judged as religious and good people because people do not witness what they do behind closed doors, Allah is knowledgeable of the things we cannot see which is why he is 'AL-HAKAM (the judge)'

people have a habit of seeing a persons sins and judging their personality and entire life based on what they see but at the same time forgetting what they do not see.

I didn't read the rest of what you said.

Here is the deal: Judging a person is what we do. Saying how that person will eventually be judged in the hereafter is a totally different matter.

Doesn't make any sense whatsoever to say I judge your deeds = you will go to hell.

You are lying, if you never read the rest of what i said apart from what you quoted then how do you know i mentioned about going to hell?

Maybe if you were less arrogant you would have read the rest of what i wrote, be humble, you are not better than anyone you are a sinner just like everyone else.

'Judging a person is what we do' who is 'we'? speak for yourself. Allah is Al-Hakam not you, you are the slave of Al-Hakam, be careful when you try and steal Allahs title.

That's a different context altogether; you're judging their merits; and that is fair because you're making decisions about your life on the person's history of decisions. It's not the same judging their fate, condemning them to hell or their worth as a person. This as Manzareh correct states is God's domain.

The only thing Shalmwar does is judge, judge, and judge even more.

Shamlawar has called so many people "Kaffirs" over the years he hasn't noticed he is turning into one himself.

And yes, I voted for Anthony Weiner. Unlike other candidates, and you, Shamlawar, his sins are out in the open and aren't locked inside the closed so people can have a false assumption of your personality.

We should differentiate between decision making and judgement.

Then judgement have different types. Judgement in a court of law by a judge is in the parameters of legal justice.

Then we have executive, administrative and legislative decisions.

Allah can judge the final fate of a human being but on daily basis we can judge about the attitude, behavior, character, personality, ability, capacity of a person but these judgments are only opinions. Professional opinion of a doctor, psychologist is again another thing.

Declaring some one Kaffir should be the domain of God or a renown religious scholar not by every body. In internet forums it will be very naive to call some one a kaffir or a good Muslim because it is a very limited opportunity to declare some one out of the pale of Islam. This is why this takefeer is not taken seriously. I feel myself a very good Muslim in spite of the fact if hundreds call me Kaffir.

quote me where I have said that I decide in the hereafter.

This yet another silly detractions I cant be bothered with.
