I think this khurasani is here to create divisions amongst Pashtuns and to convert them to wahabism so they remain further behind IN PROGRESS AND PROSPERITY than Panjabis and Tajiks .

Secularism is a clandestine attempt to subjugate and undermine Pashtun values; so maybe that is why you think he's trying to clandestinely divide Pashtuns.

You know, my idea of beauty is simplicity.

Pashtuns, whether they are from the north, south or east are all beautiful and share the same beauty as you would see in a pashtun from paktia. Most of us don't discriminate where in afghanistan you come from because we are all the same.
That's not true; we do it all the time that's why there are inter-tribal wars; why the leaders represent one clan or people. You live in fantasy land and probably have no connection to Pashtuns as your ignorance of the Pashtu language entails.

Beauty is not in the eyes of the beholder, but in the mind of the beholder, that is what I think.

Please stop the insults and LISTEN and READ for once. The so called inter-tribal wars are over land and who is the better tribe, not over skin color as this thread suggests.

This thread does not suggest that. You should learn basic principles of logic.

The thread is about what I think. It about my personal preference.

But the response to this thread does suggest something quite interesting. It suggests that when I express my personal views and preferences people act like a king of a hostile nation has spoken. It matters to you all.

              I am flattered.

It depends on the user. I speak Kabuli/Peshawri Pashto(although technically there is no such terms as Kabuli or Peshawri Pashto. We have hard/northern and soft/southern dialects) but never never mix Persian or Urdu or English words.

Also an illiterate Pashtun will never mix Persian/Urdu/English words. This is just your prejudice by calling language of the millions of people as impure and ugly.

Secularism will enable the Pashtuns to live and die as Pashtuns and not as Islamist Taliban. This is the other way round. Islamism has subdued Pashtunwali and secularism will be a tool for Pashtuns to revive their values which are undermined by Taliban, Islamists and extremists.

More and more Pashtunwali and Pashtun nationalism is the most effective tool to defeat violent extremists. More and more secularism will bring more Pashtunwali. Islamism and Pashtunwali are antonyms.

This is just the narrative that people who are trying to produce neocolonialism is trying to portray to us so that Pashtuns let their guard down. More Pashtunwali? you mean where Girls are traded in Swara and Badal? Hmmm I think most women will find more Pashtunwali devastating because of many of its practices involve aggression against women.

Secularists use nationalism as a just a "cloak" the reality is actually to serve Imperialism. It is a clandestine tool ...and that's why secularists always think everyone else is doing something clandestine ....because they themselves are apart of a clandestine agenda.

This thread doesn't even remotely suggest that ....I mean granted it is kind of a flaky topic ...but nefarious is absurd. Your remark makes it seem like Pashtuns all get along and have always get along

you ignore the fact that the Ghilzais have fought for the last 300 years with the Abdali tribes in a wrestle for power.

Not to mention how zeerak branch of durrani always fights with the panj pay branch. In fact for a while the tribal war between zeerak and panj pay was mistaken for Taliban vs Democrats by the Americans.

I personally think that Pashtuns of Loya Paktia sometimes look like they are slightly mixed with Indian (not that that is in any way bad). Pashtun women generally tend to be beautiful or striking no matter where they originate from although I have found that for males, the majority of Kandahari Pashtuns are probably the best looking males in the world (not exaggerating).

The good looking Pashtun women are the ones who are very slender, have big eyes and very dark hair, color is irrelevant. But sadly there are many Pashtun women who look like men, they're big and burly ....it's gross. you see it all the time in NY.

FYI in Afghanistan a skinny wife is considered a source of shame to the husband because people think his not feeding her well. This is absolutely true.

Secondly, a skinny wife cannot handle the beating that a good Afghan husband will have to undertake in order to feel like a man and his friends respect him.

I didn't say skinny, I said slender. Bring those in shape Pashtun ladies my way, I'll treat them right.
