Loll nooo I didn't mean it like that, I meant that we don't know how he will react to us calling him smelly. Not that all backhome people smell, in fact they are cleaner than the majority here.

Hahaha quite a few of these uni people don't know the meaning of hygeine, they think just spicing themselves up with a bit of makeup and doing their hair up will make it alright. Whereabouts UK you from again?

    • deodorants, sunblock, aftershave and pesticides and i hate how they smell. i am allergic to all of them. there is a good deodoriser made from some kind of crystal and it stops smells and doesn't have an odour itself.

      • ^Ah same! I can only stand a little bit of it, if people smell bad why not just use a little something called..soap right? .

I went Pakistan 4 years back and my mom sprayed some mosquito repellent on me, I couldn't sleep for the entire night because the smell just got to me and was just frustrating. I would rather get bitten all night than smell them chemicals.

        What deodoriser is that?

            • thanks kakargirl. yes, telling someone they smell must be done in a very subtle or clever way. i always tell people if they have something stuck in their teeth and i have told people their breath 'is a bit smelly', especially if they are dealing with customers. i say it quietly. it is horrible to go home after a day out and look in mirror and realise you have some spinach or whatever stuck in your teeth or a boogie sticking out of your nose! so embarrasing. you think 'why didn't anyone tell me?' i tell people if they have the boogie too.

                  • my honesty has gotten me into strife sometimes. i am not always subtle.
the brand of deodorant i use is australian made , 'eon' but i am sure you will find similar in other countries ie; at health food shop or chemist. it is labelled as natural crystal deodorant and can be used on other body parts like smelly feet. also it gets rid of fungal infections under armpits.
