We congratulate the Afghan nation on 94 years of Independence; a proud moment in the long and rich history of the country. Afghanistan’s Independence Day celebration this year also reflects the ongoing transfer of full security responsibility to the Afghan National Security Forces, a critical milestone reached and a chance to look forward to a prosperous future that the nation is working hard to build. We extend our best wishes, our partnership, and our support to the Afghan nation for many years to come.
