              ^ only on eid, unfortunately

muslims in India still have a lot of major issues and discrimination, there is a huge section of hindu extremists that are against muslims. Muslims in India need to stand up and fight any sort of discrimination, they are a huge population there

sikhs and muslims have good relations though, as far as I know

didn't you hear? religion will disappear by 2041 according to my sources.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Why is the Sikh guy praying like a Muslim?

                    Confused.
                    The only constant is change.

In india there are siks who are free minded. They dont mind going to mosque or mandir, the same way there are free minded muslims like shah rukh salman and many more secular minded brain washed who go to mandir and church and have married with hindus and do pooja paatt so there is nothing strange.

and some people find this fact extremely hard to swallow. Like.. WHY?? Why are they not killing each other instead??

I wish people were capable of showing gratitude to each other with out finding the need to convince them of the goodness in their hearts only after confusing themselves regarding their own beliefs. That picture is very beautiful but at the same time, it's just someone's good old confusion.

As i said before, india is developing third world country.yes.its not 100% free of discrimination...we have lots of problems to resolve.
if u look at demography of 1.3 billions indian, 80.5% of the population of India practise Hinduism. Islam (13.4%), Christianity (2.3%), Sikhism (1.9%), Buddhism (0.8%) and Jainism (0.4%.

                            Compare with Pakistan ,
You will find Sunni Vs Shia , Ahamadi
                            Punjabi vs Balochi..
Muhajir Vs Pashtun and list continues.

which is not the case with Multi-religious India.we are not killing each other.

                            Being Indian. Being Plural.

                            Religious plurality and religious equality.

Indians are less xenophobic then others..

I think it is more to do with Indian culture. We are less xenophobic than any other society I think. You even some Aghori baba in one of the pictures. Plus here you find sikhs in temples and mosuqs, hindus in mosques and gurudwaras.

In India it's not very hard to find Jains or Buddhists or Sikhs in Hindu temples just like their Monastery or Gurudwara or Derasara be filled with Hindus.

But if you go to Lebanon (an Arabian country where neither Muslims or Christians have clear majority) you won't find Christians in Mosques or Muslims in Churches.

So the culture definitely has a role to play ...
