Just about ever job available in afg is related to the occupation and the ones doing the occupying, including one I was personally offered but turned down. Question is, are there any job opportunities for someone who doesn't want to serve the occupation? Be it teaching or things of that sort?

Any non occupation related jobs in Afghanistan for an American?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Nope. There isn't any job available which doesn't relate to occupation. If you work as a teacher, you are helping the occupants by educating the children whom if get educated will tend to not fight alongside the Taliban which means Taliban will lose it's man power and ultimately the occupants will win over Taliban. Moreover, if you accept a governmental teacher post, you will be paid by the Karzai government and you advocate the legitimacy of the Karzai government through your job which again is helping the occupants who overthrew the Taliban and 'installed' the Karzai government instead. Health, Public Services, Courts, Politics and even some Mullahs serve the Karzai government interests -> Occupants interests.
Now lets come to the public sector. Telecommunication companies are at the top of the list when it comes to public sector. But they also cater to Karzai government in terms of revealing information about the Taliban/Alqaeda.
There is only one job which doesn't assist the occupants by any means: Working with the Taliban!

there are many jobs. You could work at the universities, construction sector, Healthcare sector, A good business venture is open up your own private school. There is a high demand for it in Kabul. Public school sucks big time. The Majair schools in paksitan refugee camps have a better quality education than the public schools in Kabul or any other city.Originally posted by randolph85 View PostJust about ever job available in afg is related to the occupation and the ones doing the occupying, including one I was personally offered but turned down.
