Admin, I'm not one to suck up to anybody regardless whether they are a newbie or the admin of the site, i view everyone equally and i've always spoke to you with respect from my judgment and impression of you as elder and Pashtun brother in Islam

However, you thanked a post by Badlun where he bashed our Holy Prophet from many different angles, he said anyone that follows Muhammad PBUH has to have concubines and his words were not divine, he also said Islam is irrelevant when it comes to politics and economy.

all that blasphemy (and more) was crammed into a small post and yet you approved of the content, I think the users here have the right to know your stance on Islam since it affects the status of all Muslims here whether you will accept bad mouthing of Islam which is the religion of 99.9% of Pashtuns. Its not the first time such crude behaviour against Islam is tolerated by you and other mods.

If you are a Muslim, even if you are a basic Muslim by name surely you must know that in Islam to stand with people that blaspheme about Muhammad pbuh or Allah and to appreciate them and encourage their presence makes you a munafiq and requires you to repeat the shahaada. (this view is not a Wahhabi, terrorist al-Qaida view, it is a basic Muslim principle that should be adhered to by all regardless of sect) and no doubt you will be questioned for this on Qiyamah.

Now to all the Muslims here and reading, please take the time to read this following verse from the Qur'an and then do your own further research if you doubt the conclusion I make after it.

Surah Nisa [Ayah 136-141]: "Allah has already sent down to you in this Book the Commandment: you should not sit in a company wherein you hear things of unbelief concerning the Revelations of Allah, and wherein these are being ridiculed, until those people are engaged in some other talk. Now if you remain here you shall be guilty like them"

Now you tell me, if we shouldn't even sit in such company or entertain these people then what would be the view regarding encouraging such company and thanking them? also, this forum has come to the stage where an average modern Muslim which is not fully practicing his religion as he/she should be like myself feels out of place concerning my religious beliefs, if the conclusion is that this forum has become a place for the Kufaar to have a platform, then give them it and leave, but first we need to conclude whether it is or not (which is the point of this thread).

But he praised PF in the same post. So enough reason for Admin to thank badlun.

How do you know he wasn't thanking Badlun simply for posting? He's also thanked posts of mine and yours that Toramana and Soldat have called "radical."

He may have been just thanking him for commenting under a thread that gives Admin a chance to review how people view his personal project and hobby (i.e. PF).

I think its a personal trait of Admin's to thank folks who respond to his questions from time to time.

      Just my opinion.

Its all about perception. In his post Badlun wrote stuff you and I disagree with, but he appeared to be saying that PF influenced his thought process.

I assume the thank you was because Admin was given an insight into how his site has influenced various members.

Also, I wouldnt be so despondent about non Muslims feeling that they are carrying the day.

I cannot find a single argument on PF that has been evidence based that they have succeeded in winning.

When confronted with logic and evidence they usually go on a rant or start, by their own admissions, relying on opinion.

Often times, they have not critically analyzed what they themselves are posting for the impact factor and strength of their postings.

I believe any independent minded party would be hard pressed to feel that they have succeeded in any way, shape, or form with their agenda of misrepresenting Pashtun mores or the Islamic faith.

If any single sociological, religious, or political argument here is traced, and you follow it from initiation to conclusion, you will, 99.9% of the time see that the militant secularists end up conceding their points and then falling back on opinion.

So in essence, their voluminous meanderings have actually recorded their relentless series of intellectual defeats for all of posterity.

Spot on BA. Me 'thanking a post' does not mean I agree entirely with it. Me and BarakzaiAbdali have had some very interesting and heated discussions, where he has criticized my thought-process in some topics, and in that post full of criticism I have thanked it because I learned from him. Badlun saying he learned from PF, that includes from thousands of members, is enough for me to thank him, and enough to hope for further change from members. In the month of Ramadan, always try to refrain from assuming. I've even thanked the close-minded bigot Shamlawar Khurasani at times.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

To be specific, this is the part of the post that I agree with:

Education is proper behavioral modification. PF is a great source of non formal or informal education if not formal education. One day it may emerge as an institution and can impart formal education too.

If we are not changed at all then our presence here is futile.Learning is change and if we do not learn then we are dead. I am changed a lot here as I have learnt so much. I feel myself more educated after joining PF. My mind is open and I accept new ideas and concepts. There is a paradigm shift in my religious thinking and political approach now.

This makes me happy, and feel glad that even the mislead, the uneducated, the naive, the lost ones, the INSERTCONFUSEDWORD here, are willing to learn from each other in a positive and constructive way. In the future Manzareh, before you create such clownish and silly threads, try to contact me directly through PM to ask me 'WHY' rather than baseless assumptions. Shouting is disrespectful. I condemn the mockery and insult of Islam, and have banned THOUSANDS for that reason. Members should not make fools out of themselves and look at our past archives to see how many folks have been banned for that sole reason.

            Best,
