As for the whole religious/caste chauvinism and the inhumane and morally abhorrent abuse of the girl and her family, then there is a case to explore why this happens. I think that we need to reflect on what it is about the pack mentality that turns men into savages that leads to such acts. What can we do to protect minorities and the vulnerable?

this isn't Islam obviously. The biggest problem with pakistan is that it is a very divided society, be it on ethnic, religious or caste lines, this results in a lot of people hating each other and killing each other. Unfortunately Islam is used as a cover to hide their crimes.

For example in the first video, I can bet that it has nothing to do with christian or muslim issue, rather caste. The christian familes most of the time are from low caste groups and they are hated by the upper castes punjabis who tend to be muslims. Often crimes like rapes are commited against the low caste, which actually is more of a hindu legacy then Islamic one. So again Islam is blamed for no reason

One of my calibur would be questioning why this doesn't happen in other Muslim countries but only pakistan. Pakis in general are messed up people, they don't know to practice Islam correctly at all. I remember my uncle telling me this story on these 2 Pakistani brothers from Punjab who were convicted of canabalism of a 12 year girl of a village in Punjab. And you know what the sick part was? Pakis in general don't follow islam properly. they mix islam with their hindu culture that they aquired from the indians before they accepted islam. there are so many indian/hindu culture which is date to date still practiced today by Pakis. things like girls dancing in wedding or the bride must wear a "red" type color. Or wedding rituals such as mehendi is not an islamic wedding ritual. Or playing of indian songs during their weedding. and more indian traditions are followed by pakis which will take time to elaborate. After all that indian/hindu influence they still call themsleves islamic republic of pakistan.

it may have to do with illiteracy, you see pakistanis, especially in the interior Sindh/Punjab are among the world's most uneducated people, in fact I would also include interior India in this too, because there are lots of messed up things going on there as well. And yes you are right, Islam is insulted at the behaviors of these so called muslims. The biggest thing Islam should change is your behavior, but if that is not happening, obviously then people are not following Islam, can they be even called Muslims? just having a name Mohammad doesn't make you muslim, it's your behavior that does

In Pakistan, 90% of all top schools/top universities are based in panjab. literacy rate in panjab is the highest then any other province in pakistan. There are 26 public universities in panjab and 18 private universities. In total there are 61 universities in panjab. That's hell lot.
Sindh has 41 universities in total. That's alot as well.

Contrary, balochistan being the biggest and most rich province of pakistan is currently the most poor province with the lowest literacy rate. there are only 6 universities in balochistan. can you imagine? 6 in balochistan and 61 in panjab. And balochistan is hell lotta bigger than panjab in size. It's twice the size of panjab and sindh. The most rich, yet the most poor. our natural resources are also taken by panjab, Our men are also getting killed on a daily bases. Army operations are also being conducted regularly. We are also deprived of our rights. we're living in a hell while panjabis prosper with education and luxury lifestyle. Very unfair.

And still after such a literacy rate, these so called "mentally ill" goons usually arise from panjab.
