What is this obsession that people have with being "pure blooded"?
its not like Allah made pashtuns separate from other groups of human beings. we all come from something else and what makes us pashtun is more our customs, common history, and loyalties than our blood. or at least it should be.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Genetics, "blood and soil" and semi-Nazi talks about ancestory doesn´t mean anything.
I could be a Semite, a descendant of Jews or my ancestors could have been Turks.
What does it matter?
Today Pashtuns have a distinct culture, language, tribal sociaty and a code of conduct in life. We are somehow different from the rest of the people in central and south asia and I love the way we are.
That doesn´t mean that I hate others.
I am all for diversity.
But to break the discussion about Pashtuns down to genetics and Alfred-Rosenbergouise argumentation is just stupid.
No one gives a crap.
If we belong to the same species (and I assume we do although some of us don´t behave like a homo sapiens should), we are all related somehow.The only constant is change.Comment
