We used to have dog as pet back in the home village................and one of my brother was keeping lot of kawtaray, pigeons for hobby............dozen of hens and a cock in the sehan of house......for our small brother we used to buy parrots, mainu, bulbul, batair, teetar in the cage.
Though no one keep cats as pet in villages but we tamed a strange beautiful cat....she used to eat bread and bones of charga that we used to throw at her during meal times........she got very fat from it.....she was not interested in attacking and eating birds in our house ....one day she just disappeared...after few months she returned ......with one leg missing and very thin and weakened state....some kids might had done it.Last edited by Michin Khel; 05-26-2013, 05:55 PM.

I'd prefer dogs as my favorite pet as they actually serve the purpose of being a pet. The protect you from any kind of intrusion and sound alarm. I have a Labrador and he is 8 months old and the name is Bojo..and i just adore him.click here >>> Newegg promo code

Everyone that i have ever known that has had a bird has just kept them in a cage, i suppose that is the only way u can really "keep" them but it seems cruel.
I would prefer a dog but since i have no use for a dog right now, it wouldn't make much sense. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Only pigeons are loyal in birds....you dont need to cage them...after spending specific time in your house, when you fly them...they would be flying some where in the sky for hours and then would return to your house after exercize......Originally posted by randolph85 View PostEveryone that i have ever known that has had a bird has just kept them in a cage, i suppose that is the only way u can really "keep" them but it seems cruel. I have a dog, an 8 month old American Akita.
Also in our area back in Swat a lot of people have dogs, they protect orchids and farms. A specific breed which westerners call 'bully kutta' translated as 'bully dog' which is like a giant pitbull beast which is native to the area aswel as in Mansera and also breeded throughout Pakistan. Heres a example of some crazy Pashtuns in mansera with a big bad bully, however they definitely need muzzle's on the mouth as these are dangerous dogs.
