If there kids really do look like average pashtuns, then how come I mistakened them for punjabis? In general, the whole KPK region is mixed because of the vast migration of punjabis into the area and other Indic groups.Originally posted by Khyber Pass View PostNot Swati, Swabi, there are two different places. How are they mixed though? The kids and the dad himself look like your everyday average Pashtun."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Mostly they mix with Hazaras because of their close proximity with them. Not so much with Tajiks, but in the north it happens time to time.Originally posted by Joey_Gladstonezai View Post^So, a lot of Afghan Pashtuns are mixed with Tajiks and Hazaras. I don't understand your point."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Actually that's not true because back then most pashtuns were either Buddhists or followers of zoeaster. The Hindus were mostly concentrated across the Indus where they built the Indus Valley civilization. Even in KPK there are statues and carving of Buddhist monks in rocks. No signs of Hindu artifacts.Originally posted by Khyber Pass View PostYou do know that we are practically Indic in a way too right? Before the coming of Islam most of the Pashtuns living in modern day KPK were mostly Hindu. Probably came from Indian migrations.
Btw Hindu back then didnt mean indian."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

There is not even single famly of punajabi there. It is the weather dear.
we have afghan living here in pashtunkhwa their second generation very diffirent from their first. They look more pakistani then afghani.
If you look it to pashtuns of khost, paktika and kandar they look diffirent then mixed kabuli, lagmani and logari pashtuns.
Because there they mixed with tajiks.

Yeah non mixed Pashtuns look different than those that were mixed recently lol
But it all don't really matter
I don't know why people are so hung up on looks because it's the way of life that matter and not blood line
There are some Pashtuns that make me sick because of what they do and say so reall we gotta snap out of it
I mean my brothers kids are mixed with Spanish but they look just like the rest of my family so u know what can I say :-/
