i know this issue has been discussed before and until a few moments ago i was against it but i just realized something...
we have a bunch of users here who come so they can learn pashto.. there is only so much one can learn by reading and writing. pashto pronouncation is a lot more important than reading and writing. wouldn't it help a lot more if we could interact with each other that way?
it shouldn't be a random chat room because that would beat the purpose of the discussion forum and it should not be misused for socializing purposes. heck why don't we through in one of those pashto teaching guys in there too. they can take turns in to giving lessons...it should be a feature that is only available on selective days of the week or something like it.
    so, yaaaay or naay?

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

i am sure they wont be able to learn any good things except Kanzalay and jangona lol..
some may play songs and others talk about politics etc..
Once again we shouldnt go for voice chat in PF caz we will lose our forum

Yes we can go to make a skypee account and make a room named pashtun community.. first try that, if worked then we can adopt it and bring it to pashtunforum.

We write and in voice chat we only pronounce.. theres a big difference between talking and writing

This is a terrific idea, I actually like it.

Our dear brother Nokia Apridi had a similar idea in the past. Who would actually be willing to give the audio lectures though? Do we have any takers? You don't have to necessarily be live. You can record them and post them.

It would be such an amazing contribution. If someone wants to get paid for it. I guess I'd even pay them just to see a few more people learn here.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Of course we need volunteers Angaar Jana, but what I meant by pay was not to hire someone and pay them every month. Just something that might motivate someone in to helping us.

It would be such a great idea though. I know people are shy, but think about all the people they would be helping. You are right I am a student. I cant afford that much at all. I just want to see my people learn.
