Better to have a dog than a girlfriend.
Atleast the dog will always remain loyal to you

I've had a lot of pets in my childhood.

-Rabbits - my favourite: the dwarf kind (I would get another one anyday)
-A mouse
-Chickens (I thought they would grow so big I could ride them)
-Fighter fish
-Parrots
-A pigeon
-Kittens
-And I am pretty sure I haven't mentioned a few of them.

I would love to own a horse

I am obssesed with dogs!Whoof!Whoof!!
MK, I agree with you. They are most loyal companions..I never had a heartbreak but will break someone's heart for a dog. Unfortunately, my dog passed away last year and I am yet to get over his sudden loss..*sobs* *sobs*
Would do anything to get something like this husky...

The only pet of mine that died was my mouse and I cried a lot (I was young). So I can't imagine losing something like a dog ... that must be a killer. Khuday de derta de zrhe sabr darki

I am not obsessed with dogs, but I absolutely love husky's, German shepards and snow dogs. I wonder how I would come around to dealing with them if I had one. They're 'beautiful' dogs =)

Awwww!! I love Mice too but not more than rats, lol.(I am biased..so far rats have been giving me useful data than mice).
German and Belgian Shepherd are my top-fav. I am 1000x miles away from them (I have three) but not a single day would I miss to remember them.
You would be fine for sure . And I love all the dog-owners (I am biased..) Unfortunately, I am in a country which is more into dogs than cats (my crude observation), making it difficult for me to not think about them all the time.Sighs!!!
