  • Vegetarianism is against nature

Humans were created to eat meat

    human stomach enzymes contain :

    # Gelatinase, degrades type I and type V gelatin and type IV and V collagen, which are proteoglycans in meat.

gelatin and collagen are found exclusively in meat

    Vegetable genocide

Fruits and vegetables are sentient life forms that cannot defend themselves or flee from predators. Animals can. Who is really the victim here ?

Just look at the cruelty of this packaging

    Carrot genocide

100% Vegetarianism is defiantly wrong and not a good idea because it probably keeps you weak. Though at the same time too much meat is also bad. Obviously the best way to go is keep a healthy balance. I personally like Lebanese and Mediterranean food, they have a perfect balance between meat and vegetable dishes

I don't advocate it TBH. Many vegetarians that I meet bend the rules. Frankly I have yet to meet a vegan-type who is 100% plausible. That said I am not convinced that the Central Asian view of South Asia (read India) as being a land of weak people solely living off leaf soup or thin dhal is entirely accurate at least when one considers income. For one thing, throughout history, most poor folk have had to subsist on available vegetables. Meat, most likely, would have been rarer. Modern food production has distorted our view of what is available/when completely. Europeans should have no business eating bananas, mangoes, chocolate or basmati rice if it means that it puts an undue strain on eco-systems elsewhere. The Gulf Arabs also practically import all their beef.

Part of the key to ethical farming is treating animals well. Forget Vegetarianism. People need to think if the food on their plate is connected to wider human suffering.

i get the idea behind vegitarianism even if i find it stupid but modern western veggies just seem like hipsters that are vegitarians simply because they have the luxury.

its gotten even worse with the anti glutten and organic people.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Different strokes for different folks but the notion that vegeterianism is wrong or against human nature is ridicolous

Meat nowadays is filled with so many toxins and hormones and garbage, not to mention the saturated fat levels

Studies have consistently shown vegetarians have a lower risk of cholestorol, heart disease and cancer

I could never be 100% meat free because I was raised on meat and I love the taste too much, but Im actually on a meat free detox right now, Im doing it for 2 months, also Ive cut all enriched flour from my diet (bread, rice, pasta) as well as simple carbs and high glycemic carbs like potatoes

Eventually when I do get meat back in my life Id like to do so in very small doses. Mostly fish and chicken and turkey

And for those concerned about protein, I can guarantee Im probably bigger than any poster here and have much greater protein requirements and I dont have any issues putting 175 grams of protein in my body without touching meat. Granted I do rely on dairy and eggs, which a Vegan would not

I am typing this post a third time, as it strangely got deleted.
I suppose you mentioned me here as i don't eat meat.

Ok i try to give my opinion.
First of all i cannot agree with the validity of the gelatinase argument reported above. You should have a look on the complete digestive system and body of the human, not on a single enzyme, otherwise you can say that alcohol is a good energetic source because our liver expresses alcohol-dehydrogenase, so that we can use alcohol as energy source, but for sure you wouldn't get such a kind of idea.
Our digestive system isn't that of a meat eater, meat is unhealthy and toxic for us and doesn't contain anything we really need, al meat has comes from vegetal food or bacteria. We are not able like a wolf to make concentrated acid in the stomach and to feed on fresh meat, neither do we have the physical capability to hunt a cow without the invention of a weapon, neather do we have adated teeth to eat meat.
Further human food, specially in these times ov close population should be a theme of responsability. A cow consumes plants to grow, quiet much, these could be the rops you eat directly, so you wouldnt have to destroy nature so much, because holding food animals requires quiet more area and resources, and eating them you kill the same plants, because you need to feed the cow, and further you destroy nature because you need energy to cook the meat, while most plant food may be eaten raw, and raw eating is much more healthy and natural.
Plants have feelings also in different way than animals, that if why responsability doesn't limit only on not eating meat, but on consuming only enough to stay healthy.
There must be no fanatism, i rather agree with a Yakut eating meat every day due to living conditions than to a european who eats it one day a week, while he doesn't need it and eats it only of taste desire. Food shouldn't be a desire of sensation, otherwise it is nothing different from alcohol or drug consumption.
So responsability to make less harm possible and to take only as much as needed to live healthy are a priority for me.
Ա՜խ, ընկել եմ քար ու քարափ,
                Իմ սրբություն, ե՛տ արի, ե՛տ,
