Wow, I love your threads UFO. I learn from them daily.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

They better not allow ugly colored homes in this new part of the city. I don't know what it is with afghans and their blue, green, pink homes.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Kabul is an overrated city no offense to anybody. It's only getting this much attention because its the capital Afghanistan. I mean Sacramento is the capital of California but LA gets all the attention, Delhi is the capital of India but Mumbai gets more attention. Kandahar looks much more developed than Kabul or any other province despite there being war in that area.

Kabul is by far the most populated and largest city in afg unlike those other cities you mentioned. As for kandahar, other than aino mena it looks pretty horrible.

Kandahar City, aside from Aino Maina, has some pretty top notch locations, where the rich and wealthy lives.

I think the best Afghan city is Herat.

It is easier to build Kandahar, than it is to build a city like Kabul which has 6x the population.

                    No random houses/buildings don't worry
In KNC only certified designs can be allowed to start construction, and they have to follow the KNC commission guidelines.
And for design it is enough to say that the Master Plan is build by Japan.

Bu I have a question, in the begining of the video you see the map where current Kabul city is, and than you see that the new city is outside of it, what are they gona do with the old city? is it gona be abandoned and turned in to some ghost town, or are they gona put all the poor peopel there and the rich are gona to live in the new Kabul city???

                          It does look pretty good...

Being from mazar myself and having been there (8 yeas ago) i can tell you it is nothing worth visiting expect for the blue mosque. It's still an old ancient city with old buildings still standing and dirt roads.
