I have to admit, his onslaught of 500 different accounts and personalities does get rather irritating to sift through on here. Sometimes I feel sorry for this character because he obviously is suffering a serious identity crisis and desperately wants to attach himself to people with whom he has no place. Other times, I'm less sympathetic and wish I never had to see another thread about "white" nationalism, ancient Scythians, Kurgan theory, Stormfront, 'what do Pashtuns looks like' and other associated horse crap that he brings to the table. He has an obnoxious and somewhat disturbing obsession with the aforementioned. I personally would like to see him banned but from a moderator's viewpoint, there may be a question of, "Ban him upon what grounds?"
I agree with Khwazun, and there is also the question of "How do I know who is who". It is not like all the posting hails from the same IP address.
I would however like to emphasize that every time we have found concrete evidence, I or tor_khan have either a)merged all the accounts, b)ban.
Unfortunately, I am not yet psychic.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
We've already merged them. And again, one might assume I am one of his accounts, or Khwazun is one of his accounts, it unfortunately is not that easy. You don't want to end up banning the wrong person. I already have a bad habit of accidently not approving legit members.

Hey wrora, he goes by the name of "Tolloafghanspindai" right now. If you ban that he won't be much of a nuisance as he is now.

A fellow admin spoke to him already, and we try our best to resolve conflicts through dialogues. Banning is not always a solution unfortunately.

Just wondering, why do people have a problem with someone having multiple accounts? Trolls are good. They make online forums more lively and interesting. Trolls are humorous and discussion-provoking, even though, they are boring as hell in their real lives. I just like them.

For me, trolls are irritating. A genuinely stupid individual posting weird, awkward thoughts on the internet is one thing but it's different when the person is not even genuine in their posting content but rather posting merely for the sake of soliciting reactions. It really depends on the troll and what their particular theme is but for some of them, it's almost as though they're conducting sociological experiments on unsuspecting online communities, akin to a scientist observing guinea pigs. I never liked the idea of being played with or used as a pawn in a game. This is the same reason I resent CENTCOM's presence here, as well as a multitude of things related to foreign involvement in Afghanistan. I hate being conned, deceived, etc. It's this specific aspect that I resent about trolls. Some trolls are actually humorous though but more often than not they're irritating and obnoxious.

On several occasions, I offered 'him' the choice of keeping one of his accounts whilst merging a newer/older account. If 'he's' in contact with any of you via the PM system, then you might already know this.
I turned down the volume on one of his accounts. That is not the same as a ban. It means that someone can still log on and post to their heart's content with all the background noise they wish to make. The benefit to the rest of us, is that we don't have to see it, so the general user experience is not affected.
After a little pressurised questioning from me* I merged some of the stray accounts, but when there was no let up in the rampant postings from the accounts I didn't touch, I made a slight alteration to his posting rights. I generally offer a reasonable time frame for a regular user before taking any 'big' action. In this instance 24 hours was reasonable given everyone's different time zone. He can appeal. I can still be contacted by the PM system. I am not an evil dictator; I am prepared to listen.
