it's a monument which was made of white marble in the duration of 3 days. it was recently reconstructed sometime during the 19th century. it was as large as a football field. i am not sure how i should explain the shape but it's a circle that has --take a circle and wipe off half of it. then, wipe off equal amounts on both of the sides that have already been wiped off. that is the shape of this building.
does anyone know what this building is called or what terms i should google for?? and it has huge perpendicular bars that go up.

Na, thats an amphitheatre (just a semicircle). Djz said a circle with half rubbed off - so i guess a semicircle. Then she said wipe off equal amounts from the sides that had been wiped off, so the initial semi-circle has half wiped off again, this leaves four equal quarters of original circle.

Sketch it, take a pic and post it, bcz what you described is riddled with puzzle:/

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

the second picture looks somewhat familiar but those bars would have reached all the way up and the rest of the building as well as those stairs in the front would have not been built.
the man who had it built was not a good man but i get this feeling that he was a part of lots of advancements through out his time.
