why are there not enough black and brown people on tv?

in uk and usa, there are a lot of us colored peoples that you can clearly see in real life, take a walk outside and you will see many if you live in a good place. however on tv, there are hardly ever any arab, paki, black, latino, indian, afgan etc. that are portrayed positively. its like these white people live in their own little world where none of us exist.

UK & USA are extremely tolerant countries.

Except for indian, pakistani and black, the others you mention came mostly in late 1980s and after.

There are a reasonable number of indian, paki and black actors on tv in UK. It is not right to have a quota system for actors.
