All of you people who study or practice engineering, maths or physical science have come across professors and colleagues who do not believe in islam, let alone any belief, yet you study or work with them, learning or sharing this knowledge, without raising the question to a debate of conviction whether he is a believer or not. You simply select the knowledge you need and move on. Of course how you view all this is your internal conflict that will lead you to a cognitive dissonance of you satisfaction.
Professor kaku is another scientist who very probably does not believe in the quran or any other book of faith. Yet he is held in a respectable position for his contributions to science. Note the word respectable position relates him to science, nothing else.
To him (kaku) it doesnt matter an iota that quran is subordinated to the principia. BTW the principia cannot guide you on sirat al mustaqim. It only talks of rate of changes and gravity. I have a copy of the principia in my hall way floor leaning against the wall along with my university physics books.Comment
