Marriages between Punjabi Muslims and Punjabi Sikhs in Punjabi diaspora

to my knowledge it's not common, at least here in canada, among pakistanis, most of my friends are punjabies. Most punjabi muslims stick their own and not marry sikhs or hindus, in rare cases it may happen. I knew some sikh girls in my university who were interested in pakistani guys.

i have seen couple of kashmiri girls married with sikh and hindo. i guess they culturally more closed to each others. sikh girls usually dont marry non-sikhs.

I will suggest to /advise my youngsters to marry Afghan Pashthana not that I have ethnic tendencies but because I consider it important for Pashtun unity/unification. But love and marriage are very personal matters one cannot push somebody about.

IF i was married to someone who didn't have the same religious beliefs as i do but he did love and respect me as much as i loved and respected him, i would raise my children to be aware of both of our religions and let them choose for themselves as eventually, they all do.
it's not guaranteed that religious parent's would raise religious children. there are lots of people in the world who were born to non muslim parent's who chose islam at some point anyways. besides, as i said, i value a non muslim with a good heart, mind and soul 100 times over a bad muslim with a dirty heart, mind and soul.

I totaly agree with u.. Im not being racist nor do i discriminate over other cultures but i would recomment that too.. And toramana in love marriages u choose to fall in love with some1..
