What is love ?

What is love ? Why it happens ? Why it is so much intense ? Why does it make you think about your beloved again and again ?
What are the biological and psycological effects ?
Is it a weakness of a human being or strength ?

This is a serious thread. Now don't tell me I am fallen in love and bla bla.

'Shallow' emotions is usually meant as - not
being able to feel empathy, guilt, love, shame or many of the emotions that connect you to other human beings.
I do feel rage or other self-serving emotions, however.

If you read and understand this ayah you will understand the meaning of love.

زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ۗ ذَ*ٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ

“It was made attractive to people, the love of things they crave; women, sons, heaped-up heaps of gold and silver, branded horses, cattle and will-tilled land. But that is for the enjoyment of this worldly life, But Allah, with Him is the beautiful homecoming” (Surah Imrân 3:14)

In other words if you love Almighty Allah (swt) you love everything what is right about this wordlly life. So a Muslim cannot say that he does not love.
