  • Any chemical engineers on the forums?

Are there any chemE's or related engineers on the forums? It would be nice to get in contact with someone from a similar field insha'Allah.

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

Define related. Do you mean Engineers in generals? If yes, then we have plenty including myself.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Any misuse of chemical knowledge will be condemned with the uttermost,
Any misuse of chemicals,to prank, joke, harm any body is not welcome and is to be condemned as well.

Our help should go to those who really need help for certain purposes (like study etc.).

                    Admin Khan,

are you one of "us", too? That's nice.

What engineering field are you employed in?

                    Shkapar,

I have studied Chemical Engineering and work in the field of Thermal Seperation/Process Engineering now. Not in the US but in Germany. Do you have general questions or do you need help in your studies?
                    The only constant is change.

I guess I was thinking to narrow-minded when I mentioned related. I had fields like petroleum engineering in mind, which also brings mechanical engineers into the picture when it comes to combustion and propulsion.

Oh masha'Allah that's good to hear. At this point I'm just trying to make connections in order to facilitate the job search.
