  • Not Graveyard's Fault

Fault is all mine Admin. My commentary in the emotionally charged cartoon thread reflected this belief was misleading.

My deepest apologies to Graveyard and to PY for the false assumption!

It certainly added fuel to the fire.

this is just silly; whether or not the mistake or error was yours ...it's Graveyard/shadowgovernor's own fault for looking for an opportunity ....ANY opportunity to leap upon in some desperate attempt at discrediting Pakhtunyar ...people like Shadow are opportunists and he got himself screwed over. Serves him right.

Maybe next time he'll fact check before relying on "because Baarakzai Abdali said so"

It's all good, no need to apologize. For the record Pukhton yar, and Pukhton Yaar are two separate people. Pukhton Yar, who had a back and forth with Barakzai sahab about 6 months ago(maybe longer) probably must've been related Farhat Taj Anderson, or could've been her, herself -- which isn't the point. We'd be more than glad to have Farhat join the community to defend her work. The point I am making is this present new member that joined, Pukhton Yaar, is an entirely new member in our community.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Graveyard is a good guy... hes passionate about what he views as oppression and a moral imperitive. I think its a two way street between him and PY as both were talking at eachother, as between Abbass and GYE.

Also, he's a lot more tolerant and open minded than people give him credit for. If folks look at the Mehdi debate he actually stood against it and thought it foolish and the fight happened in an emotionally charged cartoon thread... a place that already has a lot of fodder for such events to occur.

I mean Scimitar, if someone puts up some stupid thread about Yemen, where your mother's roots arem and then expects you not to get insulted... I think that person is being a little dubious.

By the same token, GYE is probably very open to discussing the roots of the shura, the death of the that figure today... what the education status is religiously and wordly of the Taliban leaders.

As you know Pashtun anger is very hard to control and when nang is threatened it comes to the fore with rapid intensity.

Thanks, my last post on the subject... also very much appreciate your impartiality with respect to not omitting necessary info regarding said author. It speaks volumes!
