Make sure you have someone over there full-time.
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

Don't do anything over the internet, Speaking from experience visit the factory and business yourself. And like our dear brother MeemWawMeemNoon said, Make sure you have a representative there.

My family has several businesses, We deal with Herat,Kandahar and Dubai mainly. We have a representative in each respective country.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Go with your family. Not only would you be able to trust them but you are also creating employment at the same time. Not to mention, You don't have to worry about big things. Its a peace of mind, with that being said, It highly depends on what you are trying to order or sell.

My humble suggestion would be, First visit China yourself, check out the market for what your interested in, Acknowledge the cost and prices, use basic macro/micro-Economical skills to analyze everything. If you think its worth it, get your team together. However, I would urge you to do a simple cost-benefit analysis to see if its really worth it. If you want assistance, You must be a bit more detailed on what you are you trying to import.

Have you visited China yet? Like I said, visit the factories YOURSELF. If you are motivated, You will save a lot of money as opposed to hiring someone and being lazy.(Not saying you are)

Exactly. Trust me brother, I know people who started from scratches and became millionaires cause they did things themselves, and did not hire externally, They kept everything within the family. I'm sure I know what is going through your head right now. But trust me, from experience, If you have a good cousin, far relative not only will he be employed but you would be able to get some good sleep at night as compared to nightmares.

abubaker, china has extremely poor quality control over electronics but they do come at amazingly cheap prices. So you will have to look at what your buying, how much your paying for it and the most important thing who you are selling to ? and what is the purchasing power. You cant buy macs and then expect a huge market for them among the common folk, best way to go about is to find a reliable contact. Dont buy anything in bulk on ebay or through any online source for that matter
