Hi!
We work in the casting department for the upcoming Ben Stiller movie THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY and we are looking for Pashtuns to play roles in the film!!! NO ACTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
The story is about a shy man (Ben Stiller) who is forced to go on a great adventure. On his trip, he meets a Pashtun tribe at the base of the Himalayas who welcome him and their elder blesses him on his journey. It's a very sweet story, with nothing to do with politics.
Our main casting search is for the village elder--we are seeking 65-80 year-old men with interesting faces. We are also looking for Pashtuns of all ages and types for villagers. None of these roles have lines, so no acting experience is required!
The film shoots in Iceland in September 2012 and these roles would be needed for approximately 3-5 days. All roles will be paid and transportation costs covered. Candidates just need to be able to enter and exit their country of origin and Iceland.
We are looking for candidates in the US, Canada and Europe (particularly the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland)
