What do you mean no more Ashura?

Just shows the typical intolerant mentality towards other muslims.

Although I am hanafi sunni, I have no problem with Ashura the way shias do it.

Mullah Omar needs to come to some of these mahfils they have on the day of Ashura, I am sure he will learn something.

    Swallow this

Muslims don't care how it tastes you,it is haram in Islam how it is celebrated by the Shia.

What do you mean its Islamic? ofcourse it isn't part of Islam to celebrate Nawroz. But also in Islam its not forbidden to be happy with the coming of spring, where flowers bloom and take your family to picninc and enjoy other halal entertainment.

ma parents and two of ma brothers been born in afg not in saudi arabia THEY would have celebrate it here if they did in afg!! LOL
ma cousins go and come from afg every months and they NEVER celebrate it!!

as for the rest part al hanif bro did reply to you :D

As I said its not compulsory to celebrate. Some do it and some don't. Your family might be an exception but there are many Afghans who do celebrate it in the Halal way as its been proven by the poll in this thread.

what is the (ra) after mirwais hotak? -_- lol

He was a great man and I said may Allah (swt) have mercy on him. Is that haram as well? :D

I have no problem with an authentic Islamic Emirate if it includes all Afghans including the Shia. If the government is competent, accountable and not corrupt then there is no problem. But if the government is corrupt and only using the name of Islam to push their ignorance on others then its a no no.

Its not Haram. Its only your interpretation of Islam which deems it Haram. :D

so now ashura is about tolerance and a learning experience.
Ashura is truly a great day. One of the most important days in Islam.

The martyrdoom of Imam Hussain (ra) is a great event in the history of Islam and shows the triumph of Haq over batil. Its a great day to learn about the righteous people who stood for what they believed in face of tyranny and opression. Indeed its a great event to learn from.
Its sunnah to fast on the day of Ashura just as Nuh (as) and Musa (as) also fasted on this day.

Even a disbeliever will condemn this act as something forbidden, why shias doesn't do the same in public in Europe or the U.S

The new year in Afghanistan starts on the 21th of March each year which is the same day as Nawroz which literally means new day.
LOL what!! the year starts after hajj in the islamic hijri calendar!! which islamic calendar does start on 21th of march each year? LOL
                        this is LIES!!

what about the pashtuns in afg who dnt celebrate it? OOPs they maybe forgot or follow some mad mulla!! is that even a reply?

I don't know why certain pashtuns don't celebrate it but maybe maybe some jahil mullahs considered it haram and because pashtuns try to be good muslims and are mostly illiterates follow the mullah like sheep.
i would answer this part when you answer ma first post.

Samanak is a dish which parsiwan women usually make from dawn in the morning when everyone is asleep till morning cooking it slowly. Its a sort of halwa.
                        aha thnx !!

i will make this clear once again!!
if we pashtuns did celebrate it and its a pashtun thing!! then this was before islam which was celebrated haram way!! and when we become muslims we stopped celebrating the way we did!! so its not anymore pashtun thing!!

The Islamic emirate of Afghanistan has forbidden this nawroz. And inshaAllah with the establishment of the Islamic emirate,no more Ashura,no more Nawroz,no more Iran.

You said people rise Janda to celebrate the coming of spring ,isn't it celebration in itself or you too ignorant to see that.

If ask anybody anywhere in Afghanistan and ask what's Naw roz tell tell you what's it.
